Draft Regulation of the Minister for Development, Labour and Technology amending the Regulation on the technical conditions to be met by buildings and their location

The proposed Regulation amends the current Regulation of the Minister for Infrastructure of 12 April 2002 on the technical conditions to be met by buildings and their location (Journal of Laws of 2019, item 1065, and of 2020, items 1608 and 2351), hereinafter referred to as the ‘Regulation in force’.

The purpose of the draft is to amend § 267 of the Regulation in force with a view to easing the reaction-to-fire requirements applicable to ventilating ducts.
The draft Regulation aims to adapt the existing technical and building regulations to state-of-the-art technical knowledge on the use of plastic ventilation ducts.
