The draft Rules for the use of the radio frequency spectrum for electronic communications networks of mobile radio service after issuance of authorisation has been developed in connection with the provisions of Art. 30, item 8 and Art. 66a of the Law on Electronic Communications (LEC) (amend. and supplemented, SG Issue No. 20 dated from 9 March 2021). Pursuant to art. 66a, para. 1 of the Electronic Communications Act, the use of the radio frequency spectrum – free, after registration or after issuance of authorisation shall be determined by rules.

These rules lay down the conditions for the use of radio spectrum and technical parameters for the operation of electronic communications networks of mobile radio service.

The draft Rules shall provide the necessary conditions and technical parameters for the use of radio spectrum for electronic communications networks from mobile radio service.

The document also includes information on the mode of use of the frequency resource (after issuing authorisation to use radio frequency spectrum), indicates the applicable technical standards, observing which ensures compliance of radio equipment with the essential requirements laid down in Directive 2014/53/EU.
