Products obtained from animal skin which retain their original fibrous structure more or less intact and that has been tanned to become imputrescible, whether the hair or wool has been
discarded or not and the skin has been divided into layers or segments before or after tanning and, if the leather has a coating surface or a surface layer glued to it, this surface layer shall not be more than 0,15 mm thick.
