Royal Decree on edible oils

The draft royal decree shall include, inter alia:

— the definition of edible oil;
— a provision on the optional ingredients that can be added to an edible oil, which is as broad as possible and allows innovation;
— provisions relating to the acid number adjusted to the standard set out in both Standard 19-1981 and Standard 210-1999 of the Codex Alimentarius;
— the names of edible oils and their mixtures;
— the repeal of the current royal decree and transitional provisions.
