The draft specifies the requirements for live table gambling conducted by remote gambling device. The possibility to use of mechanical, electronic, electromechanical equipment and/or random number generator shall be provided, as well as mandatory croupier participation shall be waived.

Draft amendment of the Order of the Director of the Gaming Control Authority under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania "On the Approval of the Requirements for Remote Gambling Devices" (hereinafter referred to as the draft).

Pursuant to Article 16(5) of the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on Gambling (version of the Law No IX-325 of 17 May 2001) to ensure that every gambling device and remote gambling device hold a certificate issued by accredited bodies attesting that the gambling devices comply with the requirements set by this Law and the Supervision Service, the conformity of gambling devices and remote gambling devices with the requirements set by this Law and the Supervision Service shall be assessed and certificates of conformity shall be issued only by accredited bodies.

The draft clarifies the special requirements for live table gambling conducted by remote gambling devices, including the possibility to use mechanical, electronic, electromechanical equipment and/or random number generator, as well as waiving the mandatory croupier participation.
