Draft Regulation of the Minister for Rural Affairs on hygiene requirements for handling small quantities of farm slaughtered poultry and lagomorphs meat

The Regulation lays down adapted hygiene requirements for the construction, design and equipment of the food business establishment, as well as the requirements for slaughter hygiene and delivery of small quantities of poultry and lagomorph slaughtered on the holding which the operator delivers directly to the final consumer or to a local retail establishment which delivers this meat fresh to the final consumer.

According to the Draft Regulation, a small quantity of poultry or lagomorphs is defined as meat from up to 170 poultry or up to 85 lagomorphs that have been slaughtered within a calendar month or meat of up to 170 animals of several species within a calendar month.
