Non-alcoholic beverages (soft drink, concentrated juice, table water), kvass and fermented beverages.

Draft Order No. 3D-13 of the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania of the 12th of January 2009 on the Approval of Technical Regulation of the Description, Production and Marketing of Non-alcoholic Beverages and Kvass (hereinafter referred to as “Project”).

The aim of the Project is to define the requirements for the definition of fermented beverages (e.g. fermented tea drink, fermented oat drink, etc.) and their placing on the market. In the light of market developments, a new category of beverage – aromatised kvass – should be added to the Project and, in line with the practice of other EU Member States, technological production requirements should be deleted.
