Bill amending Act no. 87/2018, on electronic cigarettes and refill containers for electronic cigarettes (nicotine products).

The main content of the bill is to set rules about the sale, labelling and marketing of nicotine products that do not contain tobacco and are not marketed as medicinal products. The bill amends Act No. 87/2018, on electronic cigarettes and refill containers in which Article 20 of Directive 2014/40/EU was implemented for the most part in regard to notification to the competent authorities of the manufacturing, import and sale of electronic cigarettes and refill containers for electronic cigarettes. With this bill the same rules for the most part should apply to nicotine products that do not contain tobacco.

The bill sets rules on the highest legal limit for nicotine in a unit of a nicotine product. The bill also sets rules on age limits for sale and purchase of the products.
