Live pigs.

The Swedish Board of Agriculture’s Regulations on measures to prevent the spread of the disease porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS) in pigs in Swedish establishments

The Regulations contain provisions with requirements on what an operator needs to do to be allowed to bring pigs into their establishment due to the disease PRRS (porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome).

The requirements that the operator must meet vary depending on whether or not the countries, zones or establishments from which the animals come are free from PRRS. If the animals come from countries, zones or establishments that are not free from PRRS, the animals must, inter alia, be isolated and tested before they may be brought together with other animals in the establishment.
The Regulations therefore always apply when an operator is to take pigs into their establishment regardless of whether the animals come from Sweden or another country.
