Diesel and petrol (gasoil-diesel used for road applications and
non-road applications, and petrols used in road transport and in non-road applications).
Draft Royal Decree amending Articles 2 and 4 of the Royal Decree of 8 July 2018 on the designation and properties of gasoil-diesel and petrols.
This draft Royal Decree amends Articles 2 and 4 of the Royal Decree of 8 July 2018 on the designation and properties of gasoil-diesel and petrols.
More specifically, the following items will be added to the current Royal Decree:
1) Addition of a minimum content of FAME (7 % by volume) to B10 diesel. In this way, this type of product can be clearly distinguished from B7 diesel (max. 7 % of FAME by volume) which is placed on the market;
2) Pure FAME (B100), which must comply with standard NBN EN 14214, can also be placed on the market. However, this does not imply any obligation to place this product on the market. It is only intended for use in company fleets, just like B20/B30;
3) Invoices and delivery notes must now specify the standard in addition to the designation ‘gasoil-diesel’ or ‘petrol’.
