The Swedish Transport Agency's regulations (TSFS 2020:XX) on the certification of certain aircraft and design and manufacturing organisations

The Swedish Transport Agency's existing regulations on the design, manufacture, type and modification approval of aviation equipment (TSFS 2012:87) and on the approval of organisations for the manufacture of aviation equipment (TSFS 2012:86) are to be repealed (repealing regulations are attached as annexes). These regulations are proposed to be replaced by the current proposal, which means that the regulation of these activities are to be brought together in a common statute.
The proposal is to specify the conditions for an organisation or company to obtain national approval as a design organisation and/or manufacturing organisation for the design and/or manufacture of aircraft, including associated parts not covered by Regulation (EU) 2018/1139.
The regulations are to also regulate the design and manufacture of aircraft, including associated parts not covered by Regulation (EU) 2018/1139.
