Surgical masks in compliance with standard EN 14683
Draft Decree of 20 March 2020 amending Decree No 2020-247 of 13 March 2020 relating to the necessary requisitions in the context of the fight against the COVID-19 virus
This Decree provides that:
In point 2 of I and in II, after the words ‘surgical masks’ the following words are inserted: ‘in compliance with standard EN 14683’;
‘III. - The provisions of I and II shall only apply to stocks of masks already present on national territory and to masks produced therein. Stocks of imported masks may, however, give rise to total or partial requisition until 31 May 2020 by order of the Minister for Health, exceeding a limit of five million units per quarter per legal person. Where the Minister does not respond for more than 72 hours after receiving a request for importation from such a person or the importer, this will prevent the requisition.
