Equipment for applying plant protection products

Amendment to the Ordinance of the Provincial Government on the inspection of plant protection equipment

Establishing inspection guidance for coating devices, granulate spreaders, mist generators used in enclosed areas, seed-treatment equipment and atomising and spraying equipment towed or pushed by a person with a spray boom less than 3 m wide and for strip spray devices.

Establishing existing requirements for equipment with horizontal booms in line with JKI Guideline 3-1.0 in line with standard DIN EN ISO 16122-1 and 16122-2 for atomising and spraying equipment for field crops and for equipment with vertical booms, sprayers and comparable equipment in line with JKI Guideline 3-1.0 in line with standard DIN EN ISO 16122-1 and 16122-3 for atomising and spraying equipment for vertical crops. The existing requirements for fixed, semi-mobile and other sprayers are adapted in accordance with standard DIN EN ISO 16122-1 and 16122-4 for stationary surface sprayers.

Establishing existing requirements for the inspection body in line with JKI Guideline 3-2.0 (March 2018 edition) for inspection equipment.

Adapting the inspection sticker in accordance with § 6 of the Tyrolean Plant Protection Equipment Inspection Ordinance.
