This ordinance contains all requirements related to the energy efficiency of mass-produced appliances and installations. The notified draft ordinance will set out minimum energy performance and labelling requirements for refrigerating appliances, household washing machines, household washer-dryers, household dishwashers, electronic displays, refrigerating appliances with a direct sales func-tion, light sources and separate control gears. It will set out minimum energy per-formance requirements for external power supplies, electric motors, variable speed drives, transformers, air heating products, cooling products, high tempera-ture process chillers and fan coil units, servers and data storage products and welding equipment. For vacuum cleaners, the energy labelling requirement will be withdrawn. Products not meeting these requirements will not be allowed to be placed on the Swiss market.
