The draft amends the exposure limits for electromagnetic radiation in the residential environment, which have been determined in accordance with Table 2 of Annex III to Council Recommendation 1999/519/EC and which are related to the electromagnetic radiation parameters of telecommunications equipment (antennas) and to the telecommunications services (television, radio and mobile communications) in the 10 kHz–300 GHz radio frequency band, which may have adverse effects on human health.

Draft Order of the Minister for Health of the Republic of Lithuania amending Order No V-199 of the Minister for Health of the Republic of Lithuania of 2 March 2011 on the Lithuanian Hygiene Norm HN 80:2015 ‘Electromagnetic fields in the residential environment - Normative parameter values and measurement requirements for the 10 kHz-300 GHz radio frequency band’

The amendment of the Lithuanian Hygiene Norm, laid down by the Draft, establishes the permissible values for electromagnetic field intensity applicable during the installation (construction) and operation of radiocommunication sites (i.e. radiocommunication equipment emitting radio waves and working in the 10 kHz–300 GHz radio frequency band) in accordance with the Council Recommendation 1999/519/EC and their applicability.
