Draft BM (Ministry of Interior) Decree amending BM (Ministry of Interior) Decree No 53/2015 of 24 September 2015 on necessary connectivity, technical, technological and safety standards and requirements for the implementation of Act LXXXIII of 2014 on the uniform electronic card issuing framework, and on the certification system

The draft lays down the uniform technical and safety requirements for the electronic reading of certain identifiers (service identifier and unique electronic identifier of the card) placed on the electronic card. In this way, the amendment to the decree specifies the requirements for card acceptance terminals. The technical, information security and cryptographic requirements prescribe solutions that are widely known and used in the internal market; the rules for requesting, registering and managing security hardware elements shall be uniformly applied to any internal market player.
