Decree amending Decree No 2003-587 of 30 June 2003 implementing Article L214-1 of the French Consumer Code concerning honey

The purpose of this draft Decree is to enhance consumer information on the origin of honeys and lay down the obligation for blends of honeys packaged in France to indicate the names of the countries of origin in descending order by weight. This name must be highlighted when the corresponding quantity of honey constitutes more than 20% of the weight of the product. Only honeys packaged outside of national territory can refer to an EU and/or non-EU origin.
