Natural gas distribution facilities for motor vehicles with self-service equipment

Draft Interministerial Decree amending and supplementing the Decree of the Minister of the Interior of 24 May 2002 on fire prevention regulations for the engineering, construction and implementation of roadside natural gas distribution facilities for motor vehicles

The draft Decree consists of two articles. Article 1 amends four points of the technical regulations annexed to the Decree of the Minister of the Interior of 24 May 2002.

The following points are replaced:

a) Heading II, paragraph 2.7, point 2.7.5 - Automatic distribution equipment,

b) Heading IV, paragraph 4.5 - Safety signs,

c) Heading IV, paragraph 4.7 - Self-service operation,

d) Heading IV, paragraph 4.7, point 4.7.1 - Instructions for users of self-service pumps specifying, among other things, that users who intend to use the self-service method must be provided with prior instructions on how to refuel using alternative procedures, one of which specifies that the instructions be given at a natural gas distribution facility for motor vehicles with self-service equipment by the operator or staff members appointed by same.

Article 2 provides for entry into force of the Decree on the 30th day following its publication in the Official Gazette of the Italian Republic.
