Animals of the canine species

Resolución DGSG (Resolution of the Directorate-General of Livestock Services)

The notified text authorizes the entry into Uruguay of canine
animals from countries or areas affected by Leishmaniosis, providing that they are
accompanied by: (a) proof of the detection of a negative immune response to
Leishmaniosis, in accordance with the OIE Manual of Diagnostic Tests and Vaccines for
Terrestrial Animals (the relevant test must have been carried out within the 60 days
immediately prior to entry); and (b) the sanitary certificate required under Resolution
MERCOSUR/GMC/RES No. 52/2012.
