Proposal for Type Certification of voltage reducing devices for AC arc welding equipment under the Occupational Safety and Health Act (1 page(s), in Chinese)
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration intends to regulate voltage reducing devices for AC arc welding equipment to be subject to type certification, in accordance with Paragraph 1, Article 8 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act. As of 1 July 2018, all such products shall pass type certification and conform to CNS 4782 before they are placed on the market. The type certification is performed by approved bodies of Ministry of Labor (MOL) based on the most recent version of CNS 4782 published by the Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection.
