The Department of Commerce proposes to establish labelling requirements for consumer chemical products to enhance the protection of human health. The consumer chemical products described in the criteria are defined as follows:

1.  introduced for sale on domestic market;

2.  on display and sale; and

3.  would easily lead to physical, health or environmental risks and hazards when used by consumers.

Items considered consumer chemical products will be promulgated by the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
