The purpose of establishment of Standards and Specifications for Cleansing & Hygiene Products is to stipulate matters concerning ingredient requirements, manufacturing methods, and the usage of cleansing & hygiene products to ensure public safety and quality of cleansing & hygiene products.

The proposed establishment of Standards and Specifications for Cleansing & Hygiene Products ("the standards and specifications") includes the following provisions:

a)       Set forth individual standards and specifications applied in the light of characteristic of 2 hygiene products(disposable panty liner, dry tissue for wet tissue) designated by the Cleansing & Hygiene Control Act. b)         Establish 6 test methods to determine whether the 2 hygiene products comply with individual standards and specifications and improve some of existing test methods.
