Revision of the Mandatory Standard SI 799, dealing with antenna receiving systems. The major differences between the old version and this new revised draft standard are as follows:
1. Updates the standard to fit Israel's Planning and Building Regulations (building and works exempt from licensing) 5774-2014 to include the following:
o Changes paragraph 1.1 – Scope;
o Changes paragraph 1.3 – Terms and definitions;
o Changes paragraph 3.1 – General;
o Changes paragraph 4.1 – Lightening protection;
o Changes paragraph 5.2 – General requirements;
o Adds a new paragraph 3.6 detailing the technical requirements of amateur radio vertical antenna mast.
2. Amends the normative references (paragraph 1.2); Adds new terms (paragraphs 1.3.3 and 1.3.18).
