Commission Regulation (EU) XXX/XX laying down administrative and scientific requirements for applications in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2015/2283 of the European Parliament and of the Council on novel foods (Text with EEA relevance)

According to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2015/2283 on novel foods, the European Commission has to establish administrative and scientific requirements for novel food applications.

This implementing act will indicate what type of information (e.g. application letter, technical dossier containing administrative and scientific data) is needed in the application. It will also contain the procedures for checking the validity of an application by the European Commission and the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and will list the type of information to be included in the EFSA opinion.
