Dimethyl dicarbonate (DMDC) dispensers used in the wine industry must be covered by an annual certificate issued by the manufacturer confirming that the checks and maintenance required to ensure they function properly have been carried out. They must also be accompanied by a technical suitability conformity certificate issued by the National Industrial Technology Institute (INTI), which is renewable upon its expiry. The deadline for obtaining an initial suitability certificate is 30 November 2017.
