Proposed amendments to the Regulations on construction of mobile offshore units, the Regulations on evacuation and life-saving appliances on mobile offshore units and the Regulations on protective, environmental and safety measures on mobile offshore units

The draft technical regulations shall apply to Norwegian flagged mobile offshore units. The DTR will give some new requirements, and will refer to known standards more than in todays regulation. Most/all of these standards are already been used by the industry on the Norwegian continental shelf. Due to changes in the crane regulations, other regulations must be adjusted.
