The specification sets out the quality requirements in terms of materials and works for the cladding of interior and exterior walls and the covering of indoor or outdoor floors with marble, granite or other natural stones in typical building works using materials in widespread use. In case the project design provides for the carrying of moving loads on floors, then the requirements of ELOT TS 1501-05-02-02-00 must also be taken into account.

This specification applies to the cladding of walls made of any material (stone walls, brickwork, etc.) with or without coating, of concrete with or without coating as well as to dry lining walls (gypsum boards, cement bonded fibreboards). It also applies to concrete floor coverings with marble or granite slabs or other natural stones produced by cutting larger stones.

The dimensions, forms, sizes and other requirements should be defined in the project designs and descriptions.
