Draft Regulation amending Government Regulation No 463/2013 on schedules of addictive substances, as amended by Government Regulation Nos 273/2015 and 46/2017

The schedule in the Government Regulation on addictive substances, issued pursuant to § 44c(1) of Act No 167/1998 on addictive substances, is being supplemented by 74 new synthetic drugs recommended to be included in the schedules by the working group of the Early Warning System (EWS), which works alongside the National Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Addiction.

The EWS working group collects and assesses data on the production, distribution and use of new psychoactive substances in the Czech Republic, and ensures a rapid exchange of information at national and international level. Its goal is to provide, as quickly as possible, the best information on the presence and use of new psychoactive substances in the Czech Republic and to develop cooperation within the scope of the European Union in the area of drugs.
