The Order on the 2018 Building Regulations (BR18) contains the following:

- a new structure for the Building Regulations;

- elimination of the technical construction project review and amendments to the administrative provisions;

- a transitional arrangement for technical construction project review by municipal councils;

- new structural and fire classes;

- operational provisions for hotels and the like, care institutions, assembly halls, classrooms, day care facilities and shops are transferred from preparedness legislation;
