Order on the marking of obstacles to aviation

This Order sets out the characteristics and specifications applicable to the marking of obstacles to aviation where required under current regulations. Marking consists of lights, marks and/or beacons. Obstacles located within the territory of airfields with European certification do not come under the scope of the Order. Annex 1 sets out the requirements relating to the marking of obstacles to aviation regardless of their nature, with the exception of wind turbines located outside the areas where aeronautical clearance constraints apply. The marking of these is dealt with in Annex 2. Annex 1 lists the regulations currently in force in France without any substantial changes (Order of 7 December 2010 on the marking of obstacles to aviation). Only Annex 2 makes changes as regards the Order of 13 November 2009 on the marking of wind turbines located outside areas where aeronautical clearance constraints apply.
