Currently, Royal Decree 750/2010 of 4 July 2010 governs the documentation and administrative requirements to be complied with for various approval procedures. Its annexes contain the technical aspects applicable to each vehicle category for national type-approval, individual approval, national approval of small series, and approval in relation to specific applications. The decree lays down rules that are harmonised with the Union legal order; these now have to be updated following the publication of various EU regulations, resulting in the need to adopt a provision amending Annexes II, III, IV, V VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI and XII of said Royal Decree.
