Draft amendment to the rules for the production for grass-fed rabbit under the ‘Qualità Verificata’ [Quality Verified] quality system (Regional Law No 12/2011)

Under Decision No 212/2017, the Veneto Regional Council has approved the draft amendment to the rules for the production of grass-fed rabbit (Annex F to Regional Council Decision No 1330 of 23 July 2013, as amended) drawn up by the Directorate for Foodstuffs – the competent regional organisation – and has appointed said directorate to fulfil the notification obligations of the relative text pursuant to Directive (EU) 2015/1535.

The draft (Annex A to the resolution) amends and corrects the wording of paragraphs in the rules with regard to the following:

- Preface;

- Scope of application;

- 3. Facilities and plants;

- 4. Breeding management types and techniques;

- 5. Feeding techniques;

- 8. Product processing/preservation technology;

- 11. Product labelling.
