Summary:

The draft regulation provides requirements for boilers manufactured and installed in Poland. These solutions pertain to boilers with outputs ranging from 0 to 500 kW, or those used in households as well as in small and medium enterprises. The draft regulation states that requirements concerning carbon monoxide, volatile organic compounds and particulate matter will apply starting from 1 October 2017, and the use of emergency grates will be banned. A transitional period is introduced in the draft regulation for boilers manufactured before the regulation's entry into force. Boilers manufactured prior to 1 October 2017 can still be placed on the market and into use until the end of June 2018. This is to allow for the sale and installation of boilers that will be manufactured before the provisions of the draft regulation enter into force.
