Rules on metrology requirements for measuring systems for the static measurement of quantities of liquids in mobile measuring tanks

These Rules shall ensure the exact measurements of quantities of petroleum products, using road tankers with automatic level gauges. A greater number of these instruments is used in the Republic of Slovenia, but they cannot be used for legislative purposes. The regulation will enable a more efficient measurement when calculating petroleum products in the wholesale market than is currently possible when using measuring systems based on flow metering devices. The recognition of type approval from other Member States of the European Union or States of the European Free Trade Association or Turkey is regulated by Rules on the methods of conformity assessment of various types of measuring instruments and on types and ways of their conformity marking (Uradni List RS [UL RS; Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia] Nos 72/01, 53/07 and 79/13).
