CNS 13035 has been adopted as the inspection standard for the baby walkers since 1984. On 10 September 2013, the Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection (BSMI) updated the CNS 13035, which is one of the inspection standards in order to enhance consumer protection. The newly revised version of CNS 13035 requires toys attached to baby walkers to comply with CNS 4797 and play trays of baby walkers to comply with CNS 15503, which limits the total amount of the 8 kinds of Phthalates (DMP, DEP, DEHP, DBP, BBP, DINP, DIDP and DNOP) and 8 kinds of heavy metals (Sb, As, Ba, Cd, Cr, Pb, Hg and Se)
