The above mentioned standard specifies the performance and energy labelling requirements for electric clothes washing machines intended for household and similar use, in order that it may carry a valid energy efficiency label.

b) Comparative energy consumption.
c) Energy efficiency rating.
d) Star rating.
e) Performance criteria for energy labelling approval.
f) Test report format and printing requirements for clothes washing machines energy labels.
