Health functional food products
Proposed Draft Amendments to the Standards and Specification for Health Functional Foods.
The proposed amendments seek to:
1. Establish standards and specifications for each functional ingredients:
- two functional ingredients such as extract of Cynanchum wilfordi Hemsely, Phlomis umbrosa Turcz, Angelica gigas Nakai, extract of Sophora Japonica L.;
2. Establish test methods for functional ingredients: four test methods such as Cinnamic acid, Shanzhiside methylester, Nodakenin, Sophoricoside.
