The existing Mandatory Standard, SI 977, dealing with two layered polyethylene film for milk and for liquid milk products, shall be declared voluntary. This declaration is done due to the fact that two layered polyethylene film are no longer in use in milk bags in Israel and that milk bags should comply with Israel Mandatory Standard SI 5113.
