SI 60227 part 1: Polyvinyl chloride insulated cables of rated voltage up to and including 450/750 V: General requirements (13 pages, in Hebrew; 23 pages, in English)
The following paragraphs of the existing Mandatory Standard, SI 60227 part 1, dealing with polyvinyl chloride insulated cables of rated voltage up to and including 450/750V, shall be declared voluntary:
• Paragraph 3.1.b. dealing with the requirement to mark the manufacturing year;
• Paragraph 3.201 dealing with the requirement to mark the manufacturing year.
These requirements were not in line with the requirements of Israel Standards Law for mandatory standards.
