The notified Technical Regulation establishes the specifications to be met by ultra-high temperature (UHT) pasteurized milk meeting the definition in Section 4 thereof. The Regulation applies to UHT milk intended for direct human consumption or further processing in the territory of the States Parties. It does not apply to UHT milk in non-aseptic packaging and requiring refrigeration.
