The proposed amendments to the Food Health Regulations aim to improve and establish minimum requirements for the traceability of food, and to ensure that these requirements are met along the food chain. The regulatory strategy adopted consists of making essential changes to the Food Health Regulations and to address minimum operative aspects as part of a mandatory generic standard for food establishments.
