The Gaming Player Protection Regulations set out the horizontal principles which apply to all providers of gaming services, whatever channel of delivery they provide services with, in relation to general player protection measures and measures which are necessary to ensure that player funds are safeguarded. Moreover, the processes by which players may seek redress when aggrieved by a decision taken by the licensee are also described in these regulations, which are intended to be further supplemented by more detailed binding instruments which establish further requirements that are sector-specific.
