The subject of this specification is the formation of the down conductors system as well as of the lightning protection grounding system.

The conductors are placed on the outer surfaces of the building or inside the concrete foundation piles or the panels of the building. It is also possible to use the physical elements of a structure (e.g. the metal scaffolding of metal buildings).

The lightning protection grounding system is placed under the ground near the protected construction or inside the concrete foundations of the building.
