Metrology Act

The Metrology Act specifies requirements regarding the use of units of measurement corresponding to the International System of Units, traceability of measurement results and the use, verification and conformity assessment of measuring instruments. The use of verified measuring instruments is an important basis for trustworthy measurements. The requirements specified in the Metrology Act are primarily based on the need to maintain trustworthiness.
