Rules on meat products

The Rules set out the quality standards to be met by the meat products that are the subject matter of the Rules during their production and placing on the market, which include:

– names, definitions and general requirements

– composition, physical and chemical properties and organoleptic characteristics

– type and quantity of source materials and other ingredients used in their production and processing

– additional labelling requirements.
