Minister for National Development Decree on safety requirements for gas distribution pipelines and the publication of safety regulations for gas distribution pipelines

This draft decree repeals Minister for Economy and Transport Decree No 80/2005 of 11 October 2005 on safety requirements for gas distribution pipelines and the publication of safety regulations for gas distribution pipelines, and introduces new regulations in line with advances in technology. The new safety regulations impose more stringent technical and safety requirements. In addition, the former quality system is replaced by the obligation to authorise the technical safety management system in accordance with § 24(3) of Act XLVIII of 1993 on mining.
