Rifle ammunition with lead-containing cartridges and lead-containing slug cartridges

Act amending the Lower Saxony Hunting Act

Prohibition, when hunting game, of the use of any kind of rifle ammunition containing lead components required by the type of construction. This prohibition also applies to lead-containing slug cartridges.

Transitional period in principle: 1 September 2018

For weapons that are demonstrably unsuitable and which were acquired before entry into force:

31 March 2021
