This draft technical regulation specifies basic technical requirements for safety shoes or boots protecting workers against the impact of heavy weight objects that may fall or crush when working.

This draft technical regulation applies to:

•  Organizations and individuals who produce, import, supply, make available and use safety shoes or boots;

•  State management authorities and other relevant organizations and individuals.

Shoes or boots without both soles and lining or without soles yet with removable lining are not subject to the provisions of this technical regulation.
