Draft Order of the Regulation on Waste Water Management (2 page(s), in Lituanian)

This document represents an update draft for the regulation (pollution standards) for waste water discharges to the natural environment (table 2. of Regulation). The proposed regulation provides concentrations (spot maximum allowable concentration) of the total phosphorus and total nitrogen discharging less than 5 m³/d of waste water. The standards were established in accordance with the HELCOM Recommendation 28E/6 of 15 November 2007 on On-site waste water treatment of single family homes, small businesses and settlements up to 300 person equivalents. Implementing the provisions of new draft legislation may require the re-execution of the certification procedures of equipment (small waste water treatment plants – for less than 5 m³/d of waste water).
