Proposed Amendments for "Standards and Specifications of Health Functional Foods" (16 pages, in Korean)

·   Amends the requirement of adding functional ingredients in "Standards and Specifications of Health Functional Foods": The functional ingredients recognized under the Regulation on Approval of Functional Ingredients for Health Functional Food can be added to the Code in case six years have passed from the date of recognition as functional ingredient, and 50 over the item manufacturing report

·   Adds health claims of some functional ingredients: Red ginseng, Chlorella, Edible oil containing EPA & DHA, Edible oil containing gamma-linoleic acid, Probiotics

·  
Clarifies
some part of the standards and specifications for some functional
ingredients: Edible oil containing EPA & DHA, Hyaluronic acid
